Travel Our Journey
From 1900’s to the Present
During the early 1900’s Mr Frank Plumbridge was born. He joined a building firm
and after a few years he started his own carpentry and joinery business. This developed
throughout the years training and teaching new carpenters to carry on the traditional
skills.
In 1982 the 3rd generation in the family took on the traditional skills re-branding
the firm to Linbros. Serving a wide area of Buckinghamshire, Linbros established
themselves as a trustworthy and experience based company carrying out an extensive
range of projects.
In 2012 the family company took on the 4th generation widening its area of service
from Buckinghamshire to include South Oxfordshire. Seeing the high demand for quality
craftsmanship our brand quickly took hold.
Follow us on our journey into the future…
2020 saw much change with the company, including securing a new manufacturing and
storage workshop in Long Wittenham. This now ensured that we were able to meet increased
customer demand and still maintain our well-recognised customer service values.
In 2018 the company now a Partnership, took on it’s fourth partner. The company
now looked to streamline it’s services to provide our clients with the best possible
products and value. Coming under the new brand of Countryside Oak we were able to
maintain the traditional skills with enhanced customer service.
